The next phase of search to find missing Malaysia Airlines Flight 370 began late Sunday when a ship equipped with specialized sonar technology, one of three arrived in the search area far off Australia’s west coast to resume the hunt after a four-month pause.

The disappearance of MH370 is arguably the greatest mystery in the history of commercial flight, with an extensive search failing to turn up a single piece of definitive evidence of its whereabouts. Australian officials believe the plane was flying on autopilot when it crashed.
