A stolen 18 inch tall bronze statue of Ed Sullivan has been recovered in good condition, but no further details have been revealed by the police on who took the $40,000 figure.

Los Angeles police found the 20 pound, 18 inch statue of the legendary TV variety show host on Thursday and said it is in good condition. No further details on the case were released by police. The statue was taken Sunday from atop an outdoor pedestal at the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences Hall of Fame Plaza in North Hollywood.
